JUNIOR ACTUARY - Reporting Job description: - Provides reportings according to legal and management requirements; - Issues specific calculations on life insurance products using established methodology and specific knowledge; - Understands properly day-to-day company business and also any logistical and operational aspects associated to the technical ones. Required qualification and experience: - Actuarial knowledge (Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Cybernetics-Mathematical Economy specialization); - Experience in reporting (Actuarial reporting is preferred); - Advanced knowledge of MS-Access and Excel; - Strong command of English; - Initiated authorized actuarial courses (is preferred); - Fast learner; - Delivers accurate reports under stressful conditions; - Strong analytical and synthesis abilities. REINSURANCE MANAGER [Location will be within the company head-quarter in Bucharest and the direct reporting line will be towards the Insurance VP] SUMMARY Performs all activities related to the reinsurance tasks, both treaties and facultative. MAIN ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (other related duties may be assigned) * Prepares the necessary data for the reinsurance treaties, reviews existing terms and conditions and proposes the new reinsuring terms and structure of treaties; * Monitors the economy of the individual types of reinsurance and proposes changes; * Co-ordinates the contacts with the reinsurers, for both treaties and facultative, including fronting agreements; * Keeps the permanent contact with the reinsurance markets and develops contacts in these markets; * Finds the necessary facultative placements and assist underwriters in respect of major / special risks / clients; * Provides reinsurance assistance to all departments, as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May coordinate a team of reinsurance underwriters, as necessary. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE - 3 + years of insurance experience and reinsurance knowledge; - Organized, creative and pro-active; - Good communication skills; - Dynamic, committed and hard-worker; - Ready to assume managerial responsibilities in the future; - Analytical and very good at details; - Technical university graduate; - Good knowledge of English; - Very good mathematical and computer skills; - Team-player and with sense of humor. |
