BUSINESS ANALYST

[Location of job will be within the company head-quarter in Bucharest and the direct reporting line will be towards the IT Director]

SUMMARY
Conducts deep analyses of the business with an aim to optimize the information flows and to improve the effectiveness of the use of IT systems. Last but not the least, on the basis of the performed analyses, proposes improvements for the existing IT systems, in order to sustain the developemnt of the business.

MAIN ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (other related duties may be assigned):
- Defines business requirements for the IT solution;
- Participates in the definition of the IT strategy for the business;
- Identifying and defining opportunities to simplify, improve or redesign business processes using IT solutions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May coordinate a team of business analists, as necessary.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 3 + years of Insurance Industry Knowledge and Experience;
- Business Requirements Analysis;
- Systems Design & Architecture;
- Business Acumen;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes and interface with other IT and business peers;
- Client / Customer Orientation - strong customer focus;
- Strong attention to details, organized;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
- The aptitude to troubleshoot problems under pressure;
- Dinamic, committed and hard-worker;
- Ready to assume managerial responsibilities in the future;
- Technical university graduate;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Team-player and with sense of humor.
